WWI

The year 2014 will be 100 years since the outbreak of WWI. Canvey then still had a small community although it was growing fast. Nineteen Canvey Islanders died and their names are on the war memorial. Many more were affected by the war and in this section we will be adding as many stories from that time that we can find. If you can add any please upload them to the site.
