Furtherwick Park School was opened in 1957 due to the need for more schools following the increase in pupil numbers. The school is to close in 2011 due they say to the decrease in pupil numbers on the Island. Whatever your views about the closure the memories of pupils both current and ex should not be forgotten so please add your memories and pictures here. many of the pictures below have been sent in by friends of Furtherwick School.
