Doris Flaherty is 101 years old and a devout Christian.  Since moving to Canvey with her children in 1946 she has thrown her heart into everything she joins. Whether it is a concert party at Whittier Hall, the Boy's Brigade at the Baptist Church, or raising money for good causes, such as, the Lovell Society or the Little Havens, she does not stop. Even in her 102nd year she is learning to use the 21st century essential 'The Computer'.
