Canvey's Garden Trail

Helping keep the Archive on-line

Canvey Island Town Council is organising their third annual charity Garden Trail on Saturday, 20th July this year.  In addition to giving people ideas and advice for their own gardens, the event raises money for great causes, promotes well being and encourages a ‘green fingered’ community spirit.  This year the money raised will go solely to Canvey Community Archive.  Nisa Local at Jones Corner is sponsoring the Garden Trail this year.

There are 12 gardens taking part across Canvey Island and most will be open from 10am to 6pm during the day.  Some will be providing refreshments and plants for sale during the day.

Programmes costing £3.00 each will be on sale from the Town Council office at 11 High Street (during opening hours) and St Nicholas Church before the event giving further information about the gardens taking part.  Each programme allows one adult entry to all gardens and free entry to children under 16 with a paying adult.  Contact the Town Council for further information on 01268 683971.

{On behalf of the Archive I would like to thank the Town Council and everyone who participates in the event for supporting us. } Programmes are now on sale
