A continuing Dutch connection. This pumping station was built in the 1970s by a Dutch engineer who stayed in the Admiral Jellicoe. They called him Tommy because they could not pronounce his name. He gave Ralph Burtonshaw a tour of the pumping station explaining how everything worked.
