Canvey Community Archive are holding an ‘Open Day’ at the War Memorial Hall on the 27th September from 10.30 till 4 pm.
Joining us will be Beyond the Point, Transport Museum, Bay Museum, Friends of Concord Beach, Heritage Centre, Cast and Crew, Carnival Association, South Essex Amateur Radio, War Memorial Fund and the Dutch Flood Museum. We also have local historian and author Robert Hallmann who will be telling us stories of smuggling on Canvey. There will be a quiz for the children, memorabilia for sale and lots more. A café thanks to the Crafty Ladies Group.
Something for everyone. Bring your photos and documents for scanning or make an appointment to tell one of our members your story for the Archive.
