I was a member of the Chapman Sands Sailing Club as a 13 year old in the 50s when John Fisk taught many of us youngsters to sail. He even held evening classes in the club house for us.

As a result of his dedication we got to sail in several top class dinghies and catamarans, always safe and very fast.

Hello, I worked for john fisk in the early sixties and seventys,I worked on the cat boadicea , we built her in a shed in a yard off the parkway canvey island.we built many small boats and also a dolphin cabin cruiser cat.after my father died john looked after me as if i was a son to him.  I was freinds with jeans brother alan,we had many good times until he joined the navy and then lost contact.john taught me a lot about building which helped me in later years. iIwas very upset when he died he was a very kind man , and was missed by a lot of people especially me.   by      john r.
