There are many photos on this site of Arthur but not his beloved North Star.
He is aboard here with his crew mate and great friend Harry Peacock.
In Arthur’s History of The Island Yacht Club 1956/7/8 he describes selling North Star 1 and buying a Dauntless boat to replace her and 31 years later she was still sailing regularly .This picture was taken in the mid 70’s so it must be the Dauntless North Star 2.
She looks very much like the Dauntless Auxhillary sloop which can be found on this site .
