At the controls is Sir George Young who at that time was the Minister of State for housing. Just in front is a very young looking Bob Spink MP still very new to the job and I believe the mayor was Castle Points Mayor Councillor Dick.
The houses were in Link road if my memory does not deceive me. On the land where goats used to be tethered???
