Sunnyside Hotel

Before it was converted into a convent

By Janet Walden

The building was used for a short while as a hotel with plans to develop it into a holiday camp. The latter never happened. The building was then taken over and turned into a convent. The old building was demolished in 1971. Now it is used as a retreat for young people.
