The winning entry

Darcie Hudson-Lilley

Darcie Hudson-Lilley, aged 10 years old from St. Katherine’s C of E School was the winning entry in the Canvey Island Carnival Association’s logo competition.

Children from all the schools on Canvey were invited  to enter the competition. The response was huge. The entries were fantastic. Rev’d David Tudor and Jane Allen from the Indee Rose Trust were given the unenviable job of picking the winner.

Darcie will be the special guest and Queen for the day and will ride with other invited guests, on top of the bus that will head the procession.

Enjoy the day Darcie
