I certainly do remember the Road being like this and also most of the other unmade roads on the Island. Dad used to drive his coach down most of them to get to his customers, fine doing that in the Summer but in the Winter he got stuck in the mud so many times because of all the weight in the coach it was no good pushing it out so he had to have help from heavy machinery even the Fire Engine on a couple of occasions, all the local children loved it and were convinced that they helped by pushing the coach as it was being dragged out, it was so funny when they fell over and ended up covered in mud!!!……..

Hello This road and Letzen Road were made up in 1964 by Slater Bros. The house in the distance is in Waarden road Regards Sparrow.
