J J Proctor

I have not been able to find out anything about J J Proctor. I am assuming he took over the illustrating of Augustus Daly's book 'The History of Canvey Island' after the death of Tom Merry aka William Mecham or perhaps he working alongside Merry.

The only facts we have are the drawings themselves which appear in the book and are clearly signed J J Proctor and are clearly of a different style.
