Hi everybody.
What a fantastic time we had, after a nerve racking past few months the day finally arrived and what a response we had from the general public. None of us realised that the people of Canvey would be so forthcoming. Not only locals either people from London, Chelmsford and Rayleigh came to see us as they heard about it on the radio, Sue certainly did us proud.
We must all take a pat on the back, it was quite overwelming at times especially talking to some of the people who had some harrowing memories from the past. Hopefully this is the start of something really big and as long as we all stay focused I’m sure be will all enjoy the future of ‘Canvey Community Archive’.
