Thames House

Does anyone remember the big house that used to be in Northwick Road on Canvey called Thames House, there is a smaller place there now but still with name plaque on the wall still. It is being used now by the Essex Ambulance Service as a depot. I wondered how old the original big house was and its history. Some of my Family lived in it and used the outbuildings in the 1950’s i think. Anyone know anything regarding the house, its history or who lived there?
