The pictures show my Father. George Wilson, and I. I’m at the back with glasses. We had bought a new Crown and Tiaras, my father had the medal made and donated it. I believe these were the Carnival committee, Fred and Mary Thopose (sic), Arthur Mason, George Wilson and Sid Alterman? It was taken around 1959/1960 at the Haystack Public House. I wonder if they are still in use, I believe they bought these items as every time they needed the crown etc they had to ask a lady if the could borrow them and each year she was getting less willing to lend them!

Its looks very much like my eldest Sister Iris Mason being crowned Carnival Queen.
