This bungalow “Belmont” situated in Tilburg Road, Canvey Island, was owned by my grandmother Florence Everingham nee Jenkins from the 1940/50s and subsequently by my aunt Edith Wilkins nee Blandford until her death in 1986. The photos were taken in the summer of 1961. The bungalow was demolished at a later date and replaced by two bungalows.
At the time these photos were taken, there was an “out house” containing a small kitchen and toilet, an extension containing a kitchen and bathroom was added in later years to the rear of the main bungalow.
The Everingham family had regular family get togethers at this home.
