Does anyone know where this was taken?

A picture sent to me by Pauline Gashinski

Pauline believes this picture was taken in a pub on Canvey in the 1950’s just after her parents (Carrie and John Tindale) moved to Canvey.

Carrie is the third woman from the left in the front row and John is the third from the right in the back row.

Can anyone name the pub? Can anyone name the faces?

Some certainly looked as if they were enjoying themselves.

That pup looks to me as if it might be the Knocks Club which was almost (I think) opposite the memorial hall, I remember going in their for a glass of pop with my mum and dad

This pub is the jelicoe my dad is jim Morgan, 2right back row. My mum is the last on the right behind the bar Mary Morgan and mrs Jennings is in the middle she was the landlord of the pub. Yours mrs cope nee Morgan

Pauline,I worked at Dr.Lintners surgery as a receptionist in 1964,and I knew Mary Morgan we were quite good friends,and I had twins and Mary was thrilled about them,I moved away to luton and we lost touch,I remember her with great affection she was a lovely lady.3
