The day a cricket came knocking

My dog was going potty at the front door. ‘There is no one there, stop barking’ I said. Opening the door to show him I nearly shrieked when I spotted this female Bush-cricket on the door. (Sorry, typical female, if it has lots of legs and antenae its a no no) But not so typical female I got my camera, as this was a large Cricket and I had never seen one this large before. When walking round the Island you see small grasshoppers and some crickets but this was quite big. The main body was 25mm long add the female ovipositor at the back and the long antenae it made it very large to this already jittery female.
